You might ask, "What exactly is Broadway Bound?" The answer is simple. It is the musical theatre program at Summerlin Dance Academy that focuses on teaching children music, choreography, and performance technique from Broadway shows.

As we all know, Las Vegas has an unfortunate void in its ability to provide performing arts for our children. So the founder of Broadway Bound, Jolie Rand, decided that if the kids in the valley cannot grow up with Broadway the way she did, she will just build a program that will culturally enrich our children to the arts, because every class is centered on songs from Broadway musicals.

The children might be familiar with some of the songs/shows while other songs and shows will be more obscure. But as class continues week after week, they will grow to love these less familiar tunes as much as those old favorites. This class will teach the children to use their abilities in voice, dance, and acting to put it all together and perform the songs with stage presence and pizzazz. One of the best benefits of the class will be the exposure to a new artistic and cultural experience...the world of Broadway.
